CCR (Cardiff Capital Region) Challenge Fund Animation

The CCR (Cardiff Capital Region) £10m Challenge Fund aims to re-build local wealth through bringing innovative solutions; tackling some of the CCR’s greatest societal problems. Partnered with Cardiff University, CCR invites public sector bodies to develop challenges and connect with organisations that are able to provide innovative solutions.

Our animation was based on a challenge led by Caerphilly County Borough Council. Their project looks at developing innovative digital solutions to plan the optimal number and size of electric vehicles required to deliver services, the exact location and size of each charge point and to model their usage pattern based on shift and route information of each vehicle, reducing the overall charging needs and avoiding unnecessary chargers.

The final animation was produced in both English and Welsh, and we also provided custom SRT files for subtitling.
