Age Cymru – cARTrefu Animated Report

Age Cymru and Bangor University asked Savage and Gray Design to create an animated report based on their cARTrefu project.

The inspiration for the project came from a 2013 survey where the Alzheimer’s Society questioned relatives of care home residents, finding that less than fifty percent felt that their family members were being offered opportunities for activities. So In April 2015, the cARTrefu programme was developed by Age Cymru to increase opportunities for residents and staff to participate in the arts and to develop and mentor artists to deliver sessions for older people in care settings.

Our animated report used the Age Cymru brand typeface and colour palette and we created a bold, simple illustrative graphic style to visually describe the reports findings. The animation was developed in both English and Welsh.
