The St Davids Cathedral Festival has been bringing music to the heart of West Wales for over 40 years

We were delighted to be commissioned to create the new logo, branding, festival programme and marketing material along with a new wordpress website with Ticketsolve booking API integration to automate event creation and manage online booking and payment.

In 2022, the 44th festival brought a feast of classical and contemporary music to the most beautiful city in Wales. The festival took place during the Summer half-term from 27th May to 5th June, and included their Royal Patron, Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee bank holiday. The Cathedral becomes a hive of musical activity under the artistic direction of Simon Pearce.

The perfect acoustic and stunning architecture of the Nave with its unique sixteenth century oak ceiling provide a concert venue unrivalled in Wales. There are both early- and late-evening concerts featuring soloists, chamber music ensembles, choral work, jazz and orchestral groups, and we have a series of afternoon recitals featuring the emerging stars of the future.

The Festival has an established educational outreach programme which gives Pembrokeshire schools the opportunity to perform on an international stage. The Festival has an international reputation for excellence and has made a substantial contribution to the cultural life of Wales.
