Macclesfield Town Council was created to represent the town’s interests regionally and nationally, informing the development and delivery of local services as well as local planning issues.
Macclesfield Town Council is made up of 12 Councillors, who represent the 7 wards of Macclesfield.
A effective website scoping & development process
Studio Savage and Gray undertook a content review of the council’s existing site, working with the client to identify potential efficiency improvements and advise on new plugins, functions and processes we could build in, to improve workflow and automate many daily tasks. This process ensures the new site is quick and easy to update and also future proofed for any new types of content that might be required.
The new WordPress website includes a bespoke council meetings calendar and archive system function that links meetings, councillors, minutes and agendas into monthly / yearly archives, a dynamic events calendar, and a suite of accessibility functions to achieve AA compliance.
