website Development & Design for cardiff client Film Hub Wales (FHW), celebrates cinema with a new media rich & flexible wordpress cms system
Film Hub Wales were looking for a digital marketing agency in Cardiff to update their existing website design and create a range of great new features for their members.
The website development includes a membership account management system, google geo-mapping feeds to show member UK locations, Vimeo and Youtube feed integration allowing HD video screening of full length previews, our content block system powered by a WordPress cms allowing a variety of layouts to be created. From content showcases, sliders, tabbed content, call to actions, video embeds, pdf downloads etc.
One of the cool functions we are really proud of is the API feed integration of multiple third party box office systems allowing members to automatically push film events from their own websites into the Film Hub Wales Events calendar. Systems include, Spektrix, Ticketsolve and Seatgeek.
About Film Hub Wales
Film Hub Wales (FHW) support organisations that screen film, from film festivals, to societies and mixed arts centres. Working with over 315 Welsh exhibitors, they aim to bring the best British and international film to all audiences across Wales and the UK.
They are part of a UK wide network of eight hubs funded by the British Film Institute (BFI) which form the Film Audience Network (FAN), with Chapter appointed as the ‘Film Hub Lead Organisation’ (FHLO) in Wales.
If you’re more into making, check out their filmmaker/distributor support sheet. They always want to hear about films made in Wales and are all about watching, so if you screen films to a public audience, you could benefit from their research, training courses, bursaries, funds, advice and more. Once you’ve joined as a member, you can even apply for support to develop your film audience.
They are also proud to lead the UK Inclusive Cinema strategy on behalf of BFI FAN.
